Today was packing day at Quilts, Inc., headquarters and it was a busy, busy day! We are so excited for our first Festival of the year, and we love the city of Cincinnati. Last year I went as host of Quilting Arts TV as we taped a number of segments there. I also took some classes with Noriko Endo as well as with Jamie Fingal and Leslie Jenison, and I had so much fun being a student. This time around, though, I’ll be a part of the Quilts, Inc., team, and I am excited.
I got my official name badge made today…
And I completed my first real creative endeavor: I made a suggestions box for the show!
But in case people have no clue who “Pokey” is, I made it pretty clear on the other side what the box is supposed to service as…
We also packed up so, so much stuff. Here’s Allison Cooper, Exhibitor Services Assistant, grinning ear to ear because her packing is DONE!
And here is a picture of me recently at the Quilting Arts TV taping with Marcia Derse…who will be exhibiting in Cincinnati selling her fabrics!
I hope you are coming to International Quilt Festival/Cincinnati next week, and if so, please say hello!
